Greetings all, Franz Solo here, returned from adventures in Chicago and a week lost to a lingering cold. As the “hop head” of our fair group (I have been known to brew 300+ IBU IPAs and if you’ve ever asked if you could add more hops to a beer, the answer is yes), I’m always excited when IPA Challenge entries hit the taps. We’ve got a couple of those arriving this week and likely more to come. Today marks the first round (Icebox Brewing) of the 2021 Challenge, with round two (Beer Creek Brewing) coming up on Saturday. So buy a ticket, grab a tray of hoppy goodness, and may the finest IPA win!

New Draft: 

Marble has tapped their Autumn Roast Lager (Green Chile Pale Lager) and a new Hazy DIPA. Nexus has tapped special kegs of Vanilla Rum Lush Imperial Stout, and the eye-opening Coffee & Cream Ale. ReSource brings us a pair of new brews with High on Pino Amber Ale (ReSource Rotation), and Eternal Sunshine Kettle Sour Wheat (ReSource Rarity Small Batch). Sidetrack has gone Nordic with their Viking Ale (Hoppy Kviek). Sobremesa has tapped their Chronically Juicy III – Challenge Edition (NEIPA). Steel Bender releases Skull Crusher DIPA this Thursday. Tractor will be releasing their IPA Challenge Dune Double IPA and Turkey Drool this Friday.

Down south, Truth or Consequences Brewing tapped their Nut Brown Ale at both locations.
