Ah, Super Bowl Sunday.  A day where two teams battle it out on the gridiron, corporations drop millions of dollars for 15 seconds of airtime, and bar food is a staple for at least two of your meals.  Super Bowl Sunday is truly an American “holiday”.

That is why the Brew Crew is going to have our first ever Beer Battle, and with the cool weather, it is going to be the Battle of the Stouts!

This battle will feature the primary house stouts from all of the breweries in the ABQ Metro Area: Chama River’s Sleeping Dog Stout, Il Vicino’s Dark & Lusty Stout, La Cumbre’s El Malpais Stout, Marble’s Oatmeal Stout, Nexus’ American Stout, Tractor’s Double Plow Oatmeal Stout, and Turtle Mountain’s Big House Stout.

So cue the “Monday Night Football” music and lets get ready for some beer drinking!
