While checking the beer events this week, we had to pause for a second when we saw that Lizard Tail was celebrating its second anniversary. But wait, we thought, hasn’t it been around a lot longer than that? Well, yes, but in this case, the anniversary party being thrown this Saturday from noon to close is specifically about Lizard Tail Industrial, their main production facility located at 3351 Columbia Dr NE, which the brewery took over from the former Cantero Brewing in 2021. This party is being dubbed the 2nd Anniversary Summer Luau, and will feature a car show starting at noon, local vendors from noon to 5 p.m., and an after-party luau that starts at 6 p.m. The best part? It’s free to attend!
New Draft:
Bosque tapped Moral Support, a double-dry-hopped hazy IPA, and Citronic Red. La Cumbre added German Pils and Lager Softly, a tasty kellerbier. Marble just tapped Poquito Pils, which checks in an incredibly light 3.8-percent ABV, but fear not, it’s big in flavor. Quarter Celtic brought back Dark Pedro and also recently added Trident True Pale Ale. Sidetrack recently brought back MX Amber Lager. Steel Bender has a fresh batch of Helles Empty due out Thursday. (UPDATES) Canteen tapped Blood Orange Wheat. Gravity Bound brought back Garden Spot, its cucumber basil gose.
Up in Santa Fe, Tumbleroot brings back Hoppy Pils. Down south, Truth or Consequences Brewing will quietly celebrate its sixth anniversary with the double release of Watermelon Wheat and Squeeze the Sun, a juicy pale ale. (UPDATE) Bathtub Row brought back two fan favorites, Hoppenheimer IPA and New Mexi Lager.
New Package:
Bosque has added Salt Money, a salt-and-lime lager, to its year-round lineup in cans and on draft. Ex Novo rolled out Cardinal Sim, a new West Coast IPA, in cans and on draft. (UPDATE) Boxing Bear brought back Lemon Lime Kolsch in cans and on draft.

Today (Wednesday) — Poetry & Beer returns to Tractor Wells Park at 7 p.m.
Friday — Downshift will host Nest Fest at its new Riverside taproom in Ruidoso from 5 to 9 p.m. The event benefits HEAL (Help End Abuse for Life) and The Nest Domestic Violence Shelter. There will be live music and a raffle for a staycation package.
Up here in Albuquerque, Tractor Wells Park will host Goth Night & Dark Market: Pride Edition starting at 8 p.m.
Saturday — Tractor Nob Hill will be open at 8 a.m. in advance of the Pride Parade.
If you want to get shopping done early for the dad(s) in your life, hit up the Papa Bear Market at Boxing Bear Corrales from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
