This week is pretty event heavy, and quite a few stood out to us. We might just have to break out one or two for full previews to cap the week. But, one we wanted to make sure to point out is a rather unique event at Marble Westside this Thursday. It’s a beer-and-food pairing, which we realize is not particularly unique (especially for Marble), but it’s for National IPA Day, which we don’t believe anyone has done anything like it before. The IPA Day Flights & Bites are $12 apiece, featuring a mix of snacks paired up with the IPAs on Marble’s menu. It will run all day as long as supplies last, and is only happening at the Westside taproom.
If that’s too far to go for some, well, go grab your favorite IPA at your closest brewery and enjoy the hops while you can, because the German lagers are coming back in force. A second Oktoberfest-style beer is now available (see below), and plenty more are about ready to be tapped from the fermenters where they have been lagering for weeks and months now. Prost!

(UPDATES) Boxing Bear tapped Fuzzy Wuzzy’s Fuzzy Navel Gose, a peach/orange kettle sour. Gravity Bound tapped Only Farms, a spicy watermelon sour made with locally grown peppers and fruit.
