
They have arrived. They are infinite. They are all. Yes, we are talking about holiday markets, with at least five announced for this Saturday alone, and likely even more to come after that. Tis the season, and all that, but let’s face it, holiday shopping is hard, and being able to walk among the many local vendors with a pint in hand makes it a little easier. So whether you are headed up to Santa Fe, over to Corrales, down to Wells Park, or even swinging by the Bricklight District, there is a little something for everyone, hopefully, on your list.
New Draft:
Bosque tapped Dunks Not Dead, a new dunkel. Nexus brought back Beam Me Up (Higher) Scotty, an award-winning Wee Heavy. Steel Bender released A Million Ways to Rye in the Southwest. Thirsty Eye has another Batch 100 DIPA, this time to commemorate their 200th brewed batch. (UPDATES) Bombs Away dropped some fresh SNAFU Stout, Harvest Apple Beer, and Dunkelweizen. Bow and Arrow tapped Rancho Bizarro Sour Red Ale. Brew Lab 101 added Singularity Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. Flock of Moons tapped Forever Twilight Dunkel. Marble did a double tapping of Dunkelweizen and Pilsner XXXtra.
Down south, Truth or Consequences Brewing will tap Celestial IPA on Thursday.
New Package:
Boxing Bear will bring back Super Cereal Double Hazy IPA in cans and on draft this Friday. La Cumbre will release Project Dank Winter Edition on Friday. Second Street rolled out more Absolute Magnitude Cold IPA in cans and on draft, plus before that came a new batch of Breaking Plaid Scotch Ale in cans and on draft. (UPDATES) Ex Novo released Penguin Tuxedo American Stout and The Darkest Timeline Czech Dark Lager on draft and in cans. La Cumbre also rolled out Vienna Lager in cans and on draft.

Thursday — Bosque Heights will host the latest edition of Trivia for a Cause at 6 p.m., with Gilmore Girls as the subject.
Friday — Tractor Wells Park will host the First Fridays Comedy Contest starting at 8 p.m.
Saturday — The first Holiday Market of the day kicks off at Rio Bravo from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Pay What You Please Christmas Trees event and Makers Market is set for Ex Novo from noon to 4 p.m.
Bow & Arrow will host their Holiday Market from noon to 5 p.m.
The Annual Winter Market will take over Santa Fe Brewing’s headquarters from noon to 8 p.m.
Flock of Moons will host the Queer Holiday Market from 1 to 5 p.m.
Brew Lab 101 will host the official grand opening of its Northeast Heights taproom (formerly ReSource Brewing) starting at 6 p.m.
Medusa’s Madhouse, billed as New Mexico’s best Anthrax cover band, will headline a show at JUNO from 6 to 11:30 p.m.
Sunday — The One-Year Anniversary Party at Sunday Service Motor Company will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A big congratulations to Quarter Celtic, which claimed two medals at the Brussels Beer Challenge. Vienna Lager brought home a silver and Capriderhosen (which is on tap at both locations) earned a bronze from the Belgium-based competition. Not bad to have two European-style brews win in Europe!
Lava Rock Brewing has closed its location on Unser with the aim of moving the brewing operation to a new spot in Moriarty.
Brew Lab 101 has opened its Northeast Heights taproom in the space formerly occupied by ReSource Brewing.
