The annual Craft Brewers Conference wrapped up in Indianapolis Thursday with the World Beer Cup awards ceremony.

Three New Mexico breweries combined to win five awards.

  • Vienna-Style Lager (88 entries): Gold, Vienna Lager, Second Street Brewery; Bronze, Vienna Fest Bier, Quarter Celtic Brewpub and Meadery
  • Dortmunder/Export or German-Style Oktoberfest (70 entries): Silver, Thunder from Dortmunder, Marble Brewery
  • German-Style Kolsch (116 entries): Bronze, Kolsch, Second Street Brewery
  • American-Style Brown Ale (63 entries): Gold, Brown Ale, Second Street Brewery

So yeah, that’s three awards for Second Street, the most they have ever earned in a single competition.

Congrats to all the victorious brewers! We will follow up with them soon.

Keep supporting local!
