How the heck has it already been 15 years for La Cumbre? It still feels like yesterday when we first walked in, sat around those barrels-as-tables, and had our first pints of Elevated IPA and Malpais Stout. But, time has passed, and now the brewery is celebrating another milestone with a week’s worth of events. Things kicked off back on Monday with a special draft release of an aged beer, and another followed Tuesday. You can check and see if there’s anything left of the 2024 La Negra and La Negra Reserve. Or, just wait for the next set of releases, which start today (Wednesday) with the 2024 Siren Song becoming available again on draft and in bottles. There will also be the release of Dunkel Lager in cans and on draft. This year’s La Negra Reserve will drop in bottles and on draft Thursday, followed by the Neptune Edition of Project Dank IPA in cans and on draft this Friday. Things will come to a head Saturday with the main Anniversary Party, which will feature the release of the special 15th Anniversary IPA in cans and on draft. In addition to all the releases, there will be Lords Ov Smoke serving up food Saturday and No Coast Goods will have shirt printing on site. Other events this week will include a special beer dinner at Farina Downtown today and the annual Bowling Tournament will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Silva Lanes. Check the La Cumbre social media pages for information on how to sign up for that one. Happy anniversary, La Cumbre, and thanks for all the party favors!
