Boy, if we thought last week was short on new beers, it has nothing on this week. The landscape is barren, folks, so as we have often said during weeks like these in the past, go get that beer you missed. Perhaps you missed out on 5 X 5 Czech (Dark) Lager at Bombs Away, or the new edition of Midnight with a Chance of Coyotes at Bow & Arrow, or Bounty of Jumis at Boxing Bear, or Resolution Smesolution Hazy IPA (a perfectly named beer for this week) at Canteen, or A Policeman’s Dream at Flock of Moons, or the latest Quick Take Hazy IPA at Gravity Bound, or Schwarzbier at Lasso, or S’mores Porter at Quarter Celtic, or Midnight Zephyr Schwarzbier at Sidetrack, or whatever. Anyway, those are all still available, and there’s a lot of events coming up, and in the end the breweries just need all the support you can muster during the slowest sales month of the year every year. Oh, and don’t forget your WinterBrew tickets, with the VIP tickets more than half sold out already (link is below).
As for those New Year’s Eve/Day special hours of operation, check the prior story we just posted because the WordPress phone app doesn’t let you insert links.
New Draft:
Marble tapped a new Czech Lager. Turtle Mountain added Solstice Stout.
Up in Los Alamos, Bathtub Row tapped Raspberry Porter.
New Package:
There are currently no canned or bottled beers listed as being released this week, but if that changes, we will update ASAP.
Notable Events:
Today (Wednesday) — Painted Lady brings back Jordan Jonas for A Night of Haunting Magick at 8 p.m.
There will be New Year’s Eve parties at (deep breath), Tumbleroot Agua Fria, Kaktus, Flock of Moons, Tractor Wells Park (Music Video Dance Party theme), Sidetrack (with a “beer poke”), JUNO, and Calavida Cantina (80s Prom Night theme). Check their individual social media pages for more details.

Quick News Bits:
Canteen has a New Year’s Eve special sale with $2 off all six-packs and $10 off cases.
Bosque Brewing has closed all of their remaining taprooms. The beers will still be brewed, for now, at Marble and sold in six-packs at stores. Restoration Pizza and Smothered, separately owned, will remain in business.
The former Sobremesa location is hoping to reopen by the end of the year under a new name and ownership. Blue Mesa, from the owners of Cocina Azul, will aim to be brewing beer again, though we will have to reach out to confirm the unique way they are preparing to do that.
Tickets for our favorite festival, WinterBrew, are now on sale. The 2026 event will take place January 23 in its usual spot at the Santa Fe Farmers Market.
