WinterBrew boasts new beer releases and some classic big brews

If you go to WinterBrew, you can also be as happy as this random collection of humans were in 2024. (Crew archive photo)

Do not let that approaching winter storm deter you, for WinterBrew is back this Friday at the Santa Fe Farmers Market at the Railyard.

There are still some tickets available, so grab them while you can because this event always sells out. As we noted in our first preview from a couple weeks ago, there are now 18 breweries (up from 16), and there will be a heated outdoor patio with food trucks to keep you satiated for something other than beer. This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the New Mexico Brewers Guild, and more than worth supporting.

But, in the end, this event is all about the beer, befitting the season with a plethora of dark, decadent offerings. In other words, this the Crew’s kind of festival, and arguably our favorite of the year (heck, drop the arguably, this is our favorite).

As we always tended to do with these sorts of fests, we asked the breweries what beers they will be bringing. So far, we have heard back from 16 of the 18 participants. If the remaining four send us their releases, we will share them below.

We promise, it’s always warm and cozy inside.

(a WinterBrew exclusive debut), Kyle Line, Butter Pecan ESB, Ned Loves Mike (really, just about every RFA exclusive release), Breaking Plaid, Huning Highlander, Ole Wizard Fingers (a WinterBrew exclusive debut), Molé Stout, and Solstice Stout.
