Well folks, it’s almost time for Beer Week. The fourth annual ABQ Beer Week has been extended for few more days to give you tasting, drink specials at local watering holes, beer dinners, pong tournaments, Blues and Brews, plus so much more. This year’s events kick off on May 17 and will run through May 27.

As a teaser, here are some of the events being planned:
May 19 — Pint for Pint blood drive, sponsored by Isotopes Beer: donate blood and receive a pint glass from Isotopes Beer and coupons for beer lovers
May 19 — Join ABQ Trolley for their Ale Trail Brewpub Tour with trivia, behind-the-scenes tours, pub swag, and beer samples.
May 20 — Nexus Brewery Beer Brunch and the fifth annual New Mexico Brewers Guild Golf Tournament
May 21 — A special beer release by Ben Miller, winner of the Sam Adams Long Shot Competition, at ABQ BrewPub; also, the Marble Brewery Beer & Cheese Pairing
May 27 — ABQ Blues & Brews returns to Sandia Resort & Casino
There are many, many more in the works, including events at Tractor, Il Vicino, Turtle Mountain, and the metro area’s two new breweries, Broken Bottle and Boar’s Nest (both opening soon). There will also be a Pint for Pint in Santa Fe, for those who cannot make the trek down I-25.
