Did we lose anyone last weekend? It was a wild one. No Crew members were overly harmed at the Slayer show, but yeah, we were all pretty sore and somewhat hard of hearing the next day (it was totally worth it). Anyway, nothing like that this weekend, since after all, Sunday is Mother’s Day. If you would like to celebrate with mom, or perhaps just any of the beer-loving women in your life, head to Marble 111 for the Women’s Fest, which runs from 2 to 8 p.m. There will women performers on stage, including musicians Kelsey Manning, Melissa Rios, and Stephanie Hatfield, plus local poets. Women-owned vendors will be present, including Two Stoned Betties, Enchanting Soap Collection, and Spellbound Syrups, plus a portion of the day’s proceeds will go to Barrett House Foundation, which is dedicated to helping end the cycle of homelessness for women. The best part? It’s free to attend.

On the new beer front this week, there are a few options to check out. Bosque now has Spacelion IPA on tap and in cans at all locations, including Restoration Pizza, and it also unveils Rebble Pebble, a brown ale made with Cocoa Pebbles cereal. Boxing Bear brings back Super Cereal Hazy IPA on Friday. Canteen has a new batch of Social Capital with raspberries and vanilla. Cantero has Critical Mass Radler available Thursday. Differential has a fresh batch of Dark Lager. Kaktus has more Amber and Blonde Ales. La Cumbre brings back Strawberry Gose on tap and in cans this Friday. Marble is feeling the season with Kentucky Juleps and Rita, a margarita-inspired gose. Quarter Celtic soars with Coaxium IPA. Sidetrack has more Buzz Bomb and Pale Ale available. Steel Bender brings back ETTU Brut IPA before the Ides of May. The 377 drops a Hefeweisen and a German Pilsner.

Up in Santa Fe, Blue Corn has more Scotch Ale available. Second Street has a limited supply of barrel-aged Chin-Gose left over from Cinco de Mayo.
