Rain, glorious rain, oh how we have missed you. While it’s not always ideal for our summer patio days, the monsoons have cooled us down after a rough stretch of unrelenting heat, and frankly, we always prefer our beer-drinking temperatures to be a little less than surface-of-the-sun hot. As things cool down outside, it’s a bit more mellow of a week, with just a couple canned releases announced (so far) and a fairly wide variety of new brews on tap. Hey, we could all use a week to just chill out and kick back.
New Draft:
Bombs Away tapped Night Vision Goggles, a dry stout. Bosque added Hatfield Lager, a hoppy little fella brewed with wine yeast. High and Dry tapped more Hurry Sundown (Wheat Ale), How Do You Spell Kolsch?, and Sovereign Immunity (Hazy IPA). La Cumbre added Cognoscenti, an Italian kellerbier. Marble recently added Cool Dad (Cold IPA). Ponderosa rolled out Raspberry Wheat Ale. Sidetrack has more MX Dark Lager on tap. Starr Brothers tapped Starrlite (Kolsch). Thirsty Eye will tap Hazy Dayz (Hazy Pale Ale) on Friday. Turtle Mountain tapped Kranbeere (Cranberry German Pilsner) and Proper English (Pub Ale). (UPDATES) Canteen added Fuerza IPA. Hops Brewery tapped Saison Summer. Lizard Tail is adding a Strawberry IPA on Saturday. Marble added Simcoe Pale Ale. Quarter Celtic tapped Fiona the 2nd (Belgian Blonde).
Up in Santa Fe, Hidden Mountain tapped Honey Ginger Kolsch.
New Package:
Boxing Bear released Just Jonesin’ Part Deux, a mango lime tart, over the weekend in cans and on draft. La Cumbre will roll out Trail Hazard Hazy DIPA in cans and on draft this Friday.

Hey there Stoutmeister I’ve been traveling out of state sampling beers in New England since June 14 and have missed your emails since June 22nd along with the welcome rain back home. Just wanted to be sure that I wasn’t accidentally dropped as I appreciate all your hard work to keep us informed of all things beer in New Mexico. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Bruce🍺🍺
We are on hiatus for a while. Work and life got to be too much for all of us, so we decided now was a good time to take a break.
