Another much-needed sign of fall appears this Thursday at Marble downtown, as the New Mexico Brew Fest’s Early Bird Ticket Party will be taking place on the patio from 6 to 8 p.m. For those new to the area, NMBF is one of the last old-school beer festivals, set in the cozy confines of Villa Hispana at Expo New Mexico (a.k.a. the state fairgrounds). This year’s fest is October 14, at the tail end of Balloon Fiesta. It’s been one of our favorites for many years. Head on down to Marble to get a discount on your tickets, and you can get a commemorative T-shirt for only $10 more. Plus, you get to enjoy some delicious Marble beer (including two freshly tapped brews, see below), maybe grab a bite from Tikka Spice or Karibu Cafe, and you can stick around to listen to Kyle Martin on stage.
