The Week Ahead in Beer: All the great causes get their day at local breweries

Stoutmeister will have you covered for all things new in beer and brewery events every week.

Breweries have been great about tapping into local charities and nonprofits for years now. The variety of good causes supported has been extensive, and this is one of those weekends where it almost feels like every possible cause is being represented. Love to support the doggos? Head to Bosque Nob Hill on Saturday. Love to support local artisans and vendors? Hit up the Saturday pop-up markets at Ponderosa and Unhinged. Love to support the outdoors? Visit Canteen for the latest edition of Day Drinking for a Cause on Saturday. Love to support local musicians? Marble has you covered with a special music benefit program on Sunday. Love to support sustainability? Canteen celebrates Earth Day on Monday. Love to support programs for autism? Then head to Tractor Wells Park on Monday. And, it’s OK to just be in it for a good time, because there are plenty other events for book lovers, cookie lovers, 420 fans, and more listed below in our events section.

Also, if you are a metalhead, there is the Dethklok show on Friday at Revel, and then the Amon Amarth show at Revel on Sunday. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware. This will also explain to our co-workers why everything will hurt on Monday.
