A little while back we received the good news that Turtle Mountain had received final approval to fire up their relocated brewhouse next to the North taproom. The two locations had gone far too long without any house beers. This week, we got the even better news that the beers are flowing again, with three classics on tap already and two seasonals rolling out. Old favorites Hopshell IPA, Red Rye Redux, and Elevenses, a New Zealand hoppy lager, are currently available at both taprooms. Widespread Haze is at North already and should pop up soon at South, as should Oktürtlefest. If you have been holding off visiting either TMBC location until the beers were back, well, no more excuses. Get on out there and raise a pint or two for the entire Turtle crew!
New Draft:
Boxing Bear made us chuckle with “Who Ate All the Pies?” Dry Irish Stout. Casa Vieja added Tropical Therapy Juicy IPA. Ex Novo tapped Nosy Nelson, a pale ale. Flix Brewhouse gets into the season with Flix Brühaus, an Oktoberfest-style lager if you could not guess by the name. Gravity Bound brought back Serious Rizz, their crushable rice lager. Steel Bender will bring back Nigel Scottish Ale this Friday, and yes, there will be some of those Spinal Tap-inspired shirts for sale, too. (UPDATES) Bosque tapped Pulp Citrus, a lemon gose. Brew Lab 101 brought back Labtoberfest. Flock of Moons tapped Second Summer Festbier. Sunday Service added Route 66 Lager.
New Package:
La Cumbre will release Project Dank Uranus Edition IPA in cans and on draft this Friday, but there will be no jokes about the name of that poor planet that astronomers recently said is full of more methane than previously believed and we’re just gonna leave that there. Sidetrack released their Oktoberfest lager in cans and on draft back on Tuesday. (UPDATES) Bow & Arrow will release the next iteration of Southwesty, a West Coast IPA, in cans and on draft this Friday. Sierra Blanca has released their Oktoberfest in bottles and on tap.
