Sometimes breweries that provide frequent updates on their beers go quiet, and we get a little worried these days. It had been a minute since we had heard from anyone down at Truth or Consequences Brewing in regards to new beers. Their social media pages still showed plenty of fun events going on, so we never worried that they were closed. Well, the mystery of what happened was posted this week. The boil kettle had some issues, shall we say, and that led to a temporary cessation/drawback in production. Luckily, La Cumbre and Santa Fe Brewing provided some guest taps to keep things flowing for customers (a big thanks to both). Now everything is fixed and a whole lot of regular beers, and new seasonals, are in the fermenters getting ready. Street Taco Lager, a favorite among tourists and locals alike, will return to taps this Thursday. Consider a sign of spring, or something, but it’s a lovely, crushable light lager that will get a lot of folks through this pending scorcher of a summer. Here’s to everyone that chipped in to help TorC Brewing, and to seeing what crazy new concoctions that Chief Beer Officer John Masterson and his team come up with this year!
New Draft:
Dripline dropped a Red Ale in time for you-know-what-upcoming-holiday. High and Dry tapped Sünner or Later, a new kolsch. Kaktus recently added Euro Pale Ale and Slush Fund IPA. Marble brought back Thunder from Dortmunder and Helles. Quarter Celtic tapped a new version of Stones of Stenness, their golden stout, made in collaboration with old friend/nemesis Danny Harmon. Rio Bravo gets into the March spirit with Must be a Weasley, an Irish red ale. Sunday Service Motor Company tapped Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout, but it will be a bit before you can get a pint (see below, and don’t panic).
Up in Santa Fe, Tumbleroot tapped their Dry Irish Stout. Over in Los Alamos, Bathtub Row added Pajarito Red Lager and Smudged Glass Sage ESB.
New Package:
La Cumbre will release Project Dank: Radio Edition to kick off the 2026 Dank series this Friday in cans and on draft. Marble added a new year-round canned release, Soft Launch Fruit Beer, and it is also available on draft.
