The Week Ahead in Beer: Spooky Season reaches a spectacular crescendo

Stoutmeister will have you covered for all things new in beer and brewery events every week.

In many ways, this weekend will mark the end of the big events this season. After this, it’s all about those family holidays, maybe some actual winter weather, and celebrating the end of this (bleeped) up year. But first, it’s time to get dressed up in our finest costumes and give October a fitting farewell. It all kicks off with a creepy fun run at Canteen this Thursday, plus there will be tarot at Painted Lady, spooky trivia at Ex Novo, a market at Differential, and the screening of the movie of movies at Tractor. Friday features a book fair at Tractor, rocking parties at Brew Lab and Marble, and a haunted trolley tour at Painted Lady. Saturday the pets get their costumed moment in the sun at Marble and Ex Novo, and then the parties rage at Flock of Moons, Painted Lady, Beer Creek, Kaktus, Sidetrack, Tractor, and Second Street. It all mellows out Sunday with Dia De Los Muertos events at Marble, Boxing Bear, and Painted Lady. Now that’s how you send out events/spooky season with a bang!

New Draft:

Boxing Bear tapped Kyoto Sunrise, an amber rice lager. Flock of Moons added Every Bend in the Road, a dark mild served on nitro. La Cumbre tapped Dunkel Hefe. Marble brought back Pumpkin Ale and also added Funk’n’Peach. Nexus will bring back Lush American Stout this Friday.

Up in Santa Fe, Second Street tapped American Bock. Down south, Truth or Consequences Brewing will bring back Honey Winter Ale on Thursday.

New Package:
