Came across this news on Friday, but elected to hold off on running it while we were all dealing with that crazy weekend. Now that things have settled down again, here is another reason (besides the beer itself) to be at Nob Hill Bar & Grill on Wednesday night.
From bar manager Thomas DeCaro:
Hey everyone,
My very close friend/coworker/mentor Tyson Putman’s significant other Monique Montano was recently diagnosed with cancer. To show our support and help them and their family we will be tapping Odell Brewing Co’s Draft exclusive Whiskey Aged Peach Ale, Oak Haven THIS Wednesday, September 23rd at 6pm (in a previous post I accidentally put October, sorry for the confusion).
At this event Nob Hill will be donating a dollar from every draft beer sold as well as 25% of all food sales.
I would like to again, thank all of you for your continuous support of everything I have done at Nob Hill Bar & Grill. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be able to bring in all of the cool beer and have these events. I appreciate you guys more than you’ll ever know.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let’s raise as much money as we can for Monique, enjoy great beer and great company this Wednesday.
If you cannot make the event, here is the link to donate to help Monique out.
Sincerely,
Thomas DeCaro
P.S. I will be trying to get a hockey tournament going in the near future to raise funds for Monique and possibly others battling cancer. If any of you know of anyone who would be willing to donate gift certificates, time, money, items or anything to help with a silent auction or with the event itself please have them contact me at tdecaro3@gmail.com
All of that sounds like reason enough to head over to NHBG for a pint on Wednesday. See you all there.
Cheers!
