The Crew reviews Rowley Farmhouse Ales’ Thrace Hazy IPA with head brewer Wes Burbank

The Crew and Rowley Farmhouse Ales head brewer Wes Burbank, top right, gathered virtually to talk about Thrace Hazy IPA and more.

And, we’re back with another Zoom video beer review, briefly interrupting our ongoing series of brewery updates (one will still run later today). This time around, we are joined by both our Santa Fe writer, Luke, and Rowley Farmhouse Ales head brewer Wes Burbank. The latter brought down a case (!) of Thrace Hazy IPA to Albuquerque, so of course we had to do a review, and he was willing to jump into the fray with all of us.

In addition to discussing the very tasty beer of the day, we also talked about how Rowley Farmhouse Ales has pivoted to canning only during this current situation. Wes let us know what future beers are destined for cans, a mix of old favorites and some new brews. We also found out where RFA’s Albuquerque-based fans will soon be able to find these cans. And, since Wes loves metal just like the rest of us, we did talk a little about our favorite recent albums, and how much we miss going to live shows.

Hopefully this review comes off as more structured and more to-the-point. We are continuing to tinker with the format, with our main goal to provide all the relevant information while we still have a bit of fun.

Until the next time a generous brewer delivers beer to one of our homes …

Keep supporting local!
