This is another one of those event-heavy weekends with a little something for everyone, but Sunday specifically is for the dads. Timing out their biggest annual event with Father’s Day, Kaktus Brewing is once again set to host the Farmhouse Ale Event at Loretto Park in Bernalillo. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, live music from five country and blues bands, a family games area, and a casino tent for the grown-ups. It all runs from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door, or for $15 you can purchase in advance here.
If a trip to Bernalillo is not in the cards, head to La Cumbre at noon for their Father’s Day Party at the brewery. They will have a grill giveaway, a special beer release (see below), a live DJ, a brewery tour at 2 p.m., cornhole, and $1 from every pint sold goes to the Prostate Cancer Support Association of New Mexico.
UPDATE: Dear lord, how did we missed the fact that this is the weekend of the Crab and Pilsner Festival at Second Street Rufina?! It starts both Saturday and Sunday at noon and will feature a lengthy list of lagers, which goes as follows.
