A Thursday that began with all the computers going down at the day job just turned into something far, far better. The good folks at Bosque Brewing dropped some welcome news in our laps, and we just had to make sure to share it with all of you.
Next Friday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., Bosque will be releasing the barrel-aged version of Jet Black Winter Russian Imperial Stout at Jubilation. Head brewer John Bullard will be on hand for folks to talk to while they taste samples of this epic creation, aged for the last year in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels provided by Jubilation. Then, for the first 35 customers who purchase a bomber of Jet Black Winter, you get an added bonus besides the beer itself.
The first Bosque Insider event is set for Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the brewery on San Mateo. The first 35 customers to purchase a bomber at Jubilation will each receive an invite to this first of its kind event. You will again have the opportunity to talk to John, enjoy some beer samples, and then get a sneak preview of the upcoming new menu items for the Nob Hill Public House, each paired with the proper beers. Oh, and you also get to try the new Imperial Coffee Brown, made in collaboration with Essence, a local organic coffee extract company. You can purchase one of the 50 sneak-preview bombers of the ICB for just $8, too, well before it is released to the public.
For those who cannot make it to Jubilation on the first night, fear not, Bosque co-owner Jotham Michnovicz said there are “around 700” bombers of Jet Black Winter that will be sold at Jubilation and all three Bosque locations. Just be prepared, the Crew might buy up a significant portion of that supply.
Got any questions about these events or anything else regarding Bosque and/or Jubilation? Just ask us and if we cannot answer it, we will pass it along to the appropriate people.
In the meantime, let us all thank Bosque and Jubilation for once again making epic beers and events.
Cheers!
