The final stretch of Beer Week begins with a number of varied events tonight.
Topping the list is the fourth annual Tower of Sour at Back Alley Draft House, which is going to be bigger and more festive than ever before.
There will also be special events at both Tractor locations, a special tapping at Nob Hill Bar & Grill, and fun and games with Upslope at Rock & Brews.
Happy weekend, everyone!
Every day we will pick what we consider the biggest, most interesting, most unique event. This does not mean you should go to only this event and ignore the rest. All of them deserve your attention, but realistically, you can probably only attend a few. So we will make our daily pick, and you can either jump on it, or declare the Crew is foolish (we kinda are) and pick your own.
What: Tower of Sour. Where: Back Alley Draft House. When: 6 p.m. Cost: $10 for entry (music only, no beer); $20 economy ticket; $40 general admission; $50 VIP.
Details: The fourth Tower of Sour will expand from BADH out into the parking lot. There will 14 breweries represented, including Marble and Sierra Blanca, offering up 30-plus sours from around the world. The Real Matt Jones and Vanilla Pop will provide the music.
