The Brewers Association’s new documentary, For the Love of Craft, has been shown in breweries around the country of late. Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery, however, is going beyond just airing the 30-minute film this Saturday night.
Starting at 7 p.m., Tumbleroot has assembled a panel of Santa Fe’s top brewers for a panel discussion and Q&A, and everyone is invited to attend. The brewers are Blue Corn’s Paul Mallory, Chili Line’s Xander Pertusini, Santa Fe Brewing’s Brain Shaeffer, Second Street’s Tom Ludzia, and Rowley Farmhouse Ales’ Wes Burbank, who is probably (definitely) still basking in the glow of his brewery’s medals and awards at the Great American Beer Festival last weekend.
There will also be a brewing trivia challenge, with prizes awarded. There will be a $1 discount on all drinks for brewers and homebrewers.
For those who just want to watch the film, the screening will start at 8:30. The film was produced by the BA, Studio C3, and BA founder Charlie Papazian.
The best part of all of this? It is free to attend. So head on up, meet the brewers, watch the film, and enjoy some tasty beverages, including the GABF bronze-medal-winning Double Brown Ale.
Cheers!
