
Time flies, which you tend to notice every time a brewery has an anniversary party number that makes you go, “Whoa, already?” Bow & Arrow is the latest, celebrating its seventh anniversary this Saturday, and the brewery will going all out with quite a celebratory event. There will be three special beer releases (see below), live music with Dmitri Glover of Laketown Riots at 5 p.m. and DJ Daniyal Ahmed at 8 p.m., and also food options. Oh, and there will even be special VIP tickets that will get you a beer-and-cheese pairing, a special cupcake, vintage cellar pours of Desert Revival, and a four-pack of the anniversary beer.
New Draft:
Bow & Arrow will release one draft-only beers Saturday in the Sumac Hibiscus Saison. Casa Vieja tapped its new Chattahoochee Pale Ale. Differential added Plum Saison. Marble tapped Tettnang Pils. Nexus added Frio Cold IPA. ReSource released another new small-batch offering, DATG American Golden Ale. Sobremesa brought back North Valley Brown. (UPDATE) Marble tapped Code 301-IPL, brewed in collaboration with Tanner Davies of Yakima Chief Hops (and a friend of the Crew).
Up in Santa Fe, Hidden Mountain tapped Snow Visibility Hazy IPA. Rowley Farmhouse Ales added Whelp Pale Ale.
New Package:
Bow & Arrow will release its primary anniversary beer, 7 Layer Birthday Cake IPA, in cans and on draft this Saturday, along with Twists & Turns IPA with orange and cardamom, and the re-release of Midnight with a Chance of Coyotes Imperial Stout. Steel Bender will bring back Hummingbird Pils in cans and on draft this Friday. Second Street released Kohatu IPA in cans and on draft. (UPDATES) Canteen went and put Tuttle IPA in cans, and it’s on draft, too. Second Street also put its Sloppy Sloth Galaxy Hazy IPA back in cans.
Notable Events:
Today (Wednesday) — Trivia for a Cause is back at Bosque Heights, this time with the long-running TV series Grey’s Anatomy as the theme. Winners pick the charity that the event will benefit. It kicks off at 6 p.m.
Friday — Gin & Jazz: New Orleans Edition returns to Tractor Wells Park at 5 p.m.
Saturday — Unhinged will host its first Comedy Night at 8:30 p.m.

Out to the eastern part of the state, Roosevelt Brewing closed its Clovis taproom. The Portales brewery is still going strong.
Beer Creek is having a sale on four-packs of Bootlegger Blonde for $12 apiece at the brewery.
Bathtub Row is in the midst of a major renovation in the back, with the concrete floor being replaced so they can install their new 7-barrel brewhouse and other equipment. Their lineup will soon be mostly guest taps, so be patient, and soon the beer will flow again, better than ever!

Bombs Away Beer Company — Featured seasonal: Anniversary IPA (6% ABV, 90 IBU), a red IPA that features the 2022 Yakima Chief Hops Veterans Blend. This year is comprised of HBC 586, Ekuanot, Idaho 7, Chinook, and Triumph hops. Well balanced hop flavor and aroma, tropical, citrus, and woody notes. YCH donates a portion of hop sales to the HunterSeven Foundation, and Bombs Away donates $1 from every beer sold to the EOD Warrior Foundation.
Bosque Brewing Company — Featured seasonal: Wolf Pack of One (6% ABV, 30 IBU), a single-hop (Sabro) pale ale, now available in cans and on draft.
Bow & Arrow Brewing — Featured seasonal: Dark Harvest Dunkelweizen (6.9% ABV, 14 IBU), available on draft for a limited time, this German-style wheat beer has a new recipe since the last time it was brewed as a collab.
