Way back in 2018, the Crew did a little preview of the Science of Beer event at Explora, and then went out and attended the event. What happened to those photos is a mystery lost to time, but the good news is we have a chance to rectify that as Science of Beer returns this Friday.

The adults-only event runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., with VIP tickets getting folks in an hour early. Ticket prices are $40 for VIP ($35 for museum members), $25 for general admission ($20 for members), and $11 for designated drivers.

Participating breweries this time around are Boxing Bear, Flock of Moons, Marble, Rio Bravo, Santa Fe, and Sunday Service Motor Co. They will be joined by Laguna Burger and Cereal-ously Sweet providing food in addition to the in-house Three Sisters Kitchen.

There will be all sorts of events scattered throughout the museum, including Science of Beer Trivia, a baking bread with beer demonstration, and more interactive games and photo opportunities.

This is all a big fundraiser for Explora (one of their biggest of the year, in fact), so your money will go to a good place that has helped entertain and educate thousands and thousands of children (and adults) over the years.
