For those that don’t have tickets, there are a few other options today, though all in all this is just about the lightest day of Beer Week.
Kick back and relax because remember, the Stanley Cup Finals start Monday, and you will need your rest for that. (Let’s go Pens!)
Every day we will pick what we consider the biggest, most interesting, most unique event. This does not mean you should go to only this event and ignore the rest. All of them deserve your attention, but realistically, you can probably only attend a few. So we will make our daily pick, and you can either jump on it, or declare the Crew is foolish (we kinda are) and pick your own.
What: ABQ Bike & Brew Tour. Where: Routes Bicycle Tours, 404 San Felipe NW. When: 1 to 5 p.m. Cost: $60 or $65 if you need to rent a bicycle.
Details: Hop on a bicycle, hit the path outside, and head for a brewery! That’s the plan from the folks at Routes Bicycle Tours, who will take participants to three different breweries. There will be VIP brewery tours, flights of beer, swag from the breweries, and more. Throw in a locally-inspired appetizer and this will be a great way to stay in shape while still enjoying craft beer. The trip is about 10-12 miles and all participants must of course be 21 or over. For more details visit their website.
Why you should go: For all of you bicycling and brew enthusiasts, this is the event for you. It makes for a good alternative if you are not going to either festival today.
All the other great events
