Oh, my, our little brewery is old enough to vote now. Well, technically a brewery cannot vote, but we are fairly certain that Marble would support any candidate with a local focus of giving back to the community.
Marble will celebrate downtown with an 18th anniversary party this Saturday from noon to close, with 50 percent of all ticket sales going to local non-profits WESST New Mexico and the Off Center Arts Project through the Keep It ABQ Initiative. Tickets will be just $10, available at the door only for cash or credit.
There will be a sizable vendor market from noon to 5 p.m., featuring a plethora of local artists and creatives. This could be a great opportunity to shop for the moms in your life.
The full list of attending vendors: 505 Ground Collections, The Raar Bazaar, Redwood Scorpion, Roses and Steel, Peace Luv Healing, Howlin’ Torch Studio, Molly’s C & C, Paige’s Boutique, Camp Darkmoon, Carrion Creators, Jeanette’s Creative Designs, La Vida Bella, NM Craft and Photos, Wickedly Cunning, Bee Nice Beauty, Madhouse Mamma Soaps, 505 Resin Works, Fuse Makerspace.
On the food side of things, of course the SRB Sangwich Shop will be there, and they will be joined by Papa Cano’s Pizza, Papas Red Tacos & Mulitas, Slow Burn Coffee Roasters, and Yum Yums Ice Cream. Coffee to keep you moving, different food options to keep you satiated, and ice cream for dessert. Hard to top that lineup.
Speaking of lineups, Marble released the set times for the six bands and one DJ that will be performing throughout the day and night.
- Noon-2 p.m.: The Randomatics
- 2:30-4:30: Alyssah & The Red Hot Ristras
- 5-6: Abbaquerque
- 6-630: Aaron Bliss (DJ Table)
- 6:30-7:30: Slums of Harvard
- 7:30-8: Aaron Bliss (DJ Table)

Quite the musical variety, but all are local. A big thumbs up to Marble for that one.
Congrats to everyone at Marble, past and present, for reaching 18 years. That’s a fairly remarkable achievement for any local business, and even more so in the current economic and social climate that breweries have to navigate.
Keep supporting local!
