The Week Ahead in Beer: Santa Fe Brewing taps into Spring Runoff

Stoutmeister will have you covered for all things new in beer and brewery events every week.

The actual spring runoff from the mountain snowpack has been pretty disappointing this year in New Mexico, mainly due to the lack of any actual snow in the mountains. Santa Fe Brewing’s Spring Runoff, however, is still going strong, with the annual fundraising festival back this weekend at the brewery’s headquarters off I-25. Adaptive Sports Program New Mexico, which helps disabled adults and children play sports year round, will be the beneficiary this year. The event kicks off Saturday at 1 p.m. and runs until 9. There will be live music — The Kipsies at 2 p.m., Sirsy at 3:45, Mango Cakes at 5:30, Boomroots Collective at 7:30 — plus a vendor market, different food options, and of course lots of classic beer. Head on up (or down) the highway and make your Saturday day drinking a charitable endeavor.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why we didn’t lead with Marble’s 18th anniversary party, you will just have to wait for a full, separate preview feature later this week.
